Linda Evangelista is a Canadian supermodel . She is viewed as a standout amongst the most proficient and powerful models of all time and has been the covergirl for than 700 magazines. Evangelista is essentially known for being the long-term dream of picture taker Steven Meisel. She holds the record for her various appearances on the front of Vogue Italia, all of which were shot by Meisel.






Although she had been modeling since her preteen years, Linda decided to take a serious approach to modeling in 1984. Evangelista moved to New York City and signed with Elite where she met the widely acclaimed John Casablancas, who contrasted her similarity with the model Joan Severance. Elite then moved Evangelista to Paris, France where she propelled her worldwide career! Her first significant style magazine spread was for the November 1984 issue of L’Officiel. Since the 90’s and early 2000’s, she has made several reappearances in the fashion industry. However, she has chosen to focus moreso on her humanitarianism and her family.
